Live Out Your Titanic Fantasies In This 1912 Renault Type CB Coupe De Ville

While it’s not the actual car from the movie, it’s identical to the one from the opening scenes.

The Renault was a car that stuck out in its era for its sleek sloping front end. It also had a creatively placed radiator that was behind the engine, to enable the identifying looks so well. This award winning 1912 Renault Type CB Coupe De Ville is a perfect example of the time, and you can bring it home to your collection.

Purchased in March 2000, the owner was Arther C., who found the Renault in storage in a Chicago restoration warehouse. It had received a professional restoration in 1985, and has won many awards, and underwent a nut and bolt restoration in June 2001 at 3 R. Automotive in Denver did a complete 'nuts and bolts frame off' restoration to a 100 point car.

It was purchased in 2008 by an owner who had it on display in his Titanic room of his estate. This isn’t the actual movie car, as aforementioned, but it’s identical to the one in the opening scenes. It has made its rounds at the most prestigious car shows in the country, and won Best in Class at Pebble Beach in 2004.

This 1912 Renault Type CB Coupe De Ville is fresh off a three and a half year restoration and is ready for a new collection. This car is being sold at the Vicari Biloxi Sale. If you have a car to consign here or would like to register to bid here  please visit vicari.com.
