The 50's were crazy times with changing fashions, the Cold War just starting up and the economy booming, the Cadillac was the pentacle of luxury and this Sedan DeVille represents that era very well. This 57 has the classic chrome accenting the iconic 50's Fins and almost flawless paint. Luxury features are not limited on this beautiful car. The stunning interior includes; power steering, power windows, power seat, power brakes, functioning heater, power radio antenna, original pink and black leather over cloth seats. The mechanicals are wonderful with rebuilt brakes and new Coker Wide Whitewall tires, it drives just like it did brand new in 1957. The current owner stated that this is pride and joy of his private collection for the last 20 years. It was very well maintained during his ownership. It came to him from a private collector in Iowa and prior to that it was owned by a doctor on the East coast that made house calls in it. The Cadillac DeVille is the nameplate used by Cadillac over eight generations, originally used to designate a trim level of the 1949 Cadillac Series 62 and later to designate a standalone model in the brand range. The last model marketed specifically as a DeVille was the 2005 full-size sedan, at the time, Cadillac's largest model. For 2006, the Deville nameplate was retired, when the model line was carried forward with minor revisions as the Cadillac DTS, using a nomenclature adopted by the Cadillac STS and CTS.
