1929 Buick Model 27 Sedan
Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1929 Buick Model 27 Sedan (an evolution of the top-of-the line Master Six offered from 1925-28). Beautifully presented in two-tone green with black fenders and running boards, this is a striking car -- by the late 1920s, William C. Durant had controlled Buick for 15 years and established the brand upwards in the GM hierarchy, second in prestige and luxury only to Cadillac. Indeed, this Buick is considerably larger, smoother, more powerful and more finely appointed than a Model A or any Chevrolet of the same period (and more affordable than a pre-war Packard).
This example was properly and thoroughly restored a few years ago and is holding up quite well. Very nice paint, body, chrome and wheels with excellent door fitment. Interior presents beautifully with very nice upholstery, hardware and wood. All gauges are working (including the manual winding dash clock). The only deviation from stock is the addition of a stereo discreetly placed to the left of the steering column, and a turn signal switch mounted to the column itself.
Under the hood is Buick's innovative overhead valve straight six engine, a remarkably smooth and quiet powerplant, mated to a three-speed manual transmission with overdrive. Runs and drives well. For more information about this 1929 Buick for sale at Motorcar Studio in Atlanta, please call 404-692-5250.
