63K MILES, 3.9L V8, RARE RED PAINT, BLACK LEATHER INTERIOR, REMOVEABLE HARD TOP!
HIGHLIGHTS: Gorgeous 2003 Ford Thunderbird with only 63k miles! Clean Carfax, gorgeous red on black color combination, perfect car to cruise in down the highway.
BODY OVERVIEW: The body is clean and straight, and is exactly what you would expect from a car with this low of mileage. The only notable area is the right front fender. It's wearing a couple of scratches on the side that are difficult to see in the photos and then the bottom side looks like it may have hit a speed bump or drug from a steep incline. The good news is, it's only noticeable from the bottom-side!
PAINT CONDITION OVERVIEW: You almost never see a modern Thunderbird pop up for sale with the desirable red exterior and taking a close look at this one I can understand why, the people that have them just won't let them go. As best we can tell, this Thunderbird appears to be wearing all the original paint, and besides the front bumper that mentioned above, there are very few imperfections to be seen.
INTERIOR CONDITION OVERVIEW: The interior condition is nothing short of near perfect condition just as it left the factory. The black leather seats show very little creasing and no tears at all. The factory radio hasn't been ripped out for a cheesy aftermarket player and the dash is free of any splits or cracks. This car is clean enough to stand tall at a local car show with the doors open and top down.
MECHANICAL OVERVIEW: The 3.9L V8 fires up and purrs like it just left the factory. The dual overhead cam engine left the factory with a modest 280hp. This is the perfect amount for this little car, as it was never meant to be a high-horsepower street machine. The other nice touch from Ford is the addition of a 5-speed automatic, and even the Mustangs from the same year didn't get that. The underneath is as clean as one would expect for a low mileage modern classic.
WHAT YOU'LL LOVE ABOUT THIS CAR: The desirable color combination, the way it drives, honestly just point in a general direction and you'll find something to love!
WHAT YOU MIGHT HATE ABOUT THIS CAR: The only downside we can think of is the fact that only 2 people can enjoy this car at a time. Additionally, the removable hardtop can be tedious to remove.
DOES IT NEED ANYTHING? Just a new home!
WHAT BUYER IS LOOKING FOR THIS CAR? It's hard to believe that these cars are creeping up on 20 years old. This is definitely a future collectible. So this would fit in someone's collection given you never see a red Thunderbird, or for the person that just wants to cruise the open road the mileage isn't insanely low to where you would feel guilty driving it.
