1941 Cadillac 62 Series Convertible For Restoration-Good Solid Example

The '41 model is generally considered the ultimate Cadillac design wise, setting the stage for all Post War Caddys while still retaining many Pre War elements of design and massing. '41 was the first year for the headlights to move into the fender, its one year only Egg Crate Grill is a design Icon, the fully skirted rear fenders, and Goddess of Speed Mascot perfectly accentuate the stately yet purposeful presence of the car. This very desirable Series 62 Convertible was purchased by the Seller a few years back from the estate of a long term owner. He now has too many other restoration projects ahead of him and has decided to pass it on. The car is very solid with no real major corrosion noted during my inspection, and is largely complete. The chrome is pretty decent really compared to other unresoroed 41's I have encountered. The engine turns over and will in fact run, and as you can see it has a newer fuel tank, but will need new fuel lines run in order to be a runner. The Radiator is full and not leaking. The Seller amassed a few parts for the restoration including some rubber from Steele and a new master cylinder, that go with the car.
