"Take the Crown"
GR Auto Gallery is pleased to offer this spectacularly clean 1956 Ford Crown Victoria for your consideration. Powered by its smooth running 312ci Y-block V8, power is routed to the rear wheels through a strong automatic transmission. The wonderfully detailed engine bay appears to be in a mostly stock configuration with the exception of an aluminum radiator and Edelbrock valve covers.
With its sleek body lines, beautiful paint, custom line side trim, louvered hood, shaved door handles, and a '56 Canadian Meteor grill, this Crown Victoria is truly a work of art. It is finished in Fiesta Red and sports beautiful brightwork throughout the exterior. Rounding out the exterior appearance are the 15-inch wheels with '57 Cadillac hubcaps that are complemented by the Firestone whitewall tires. Inside the vehicle is just as clean as the exterior. The white vinyl upholstery provides a fantastic contrast with the Fiesta Red exterior. Highlights include auxiliary gauges, an RCA Victor under dash 45rpm record player, an AM radio, dashboard clock, and plenty of chrome trim.
As almost all domestic manufacturers did, 1955 brought about major redesigns almost completely across the board. The Fairlane replaced the Crestline as Ford's premier full-size offering. Many trim levels were offered with the Crown Victoria as the top of the line. The Crown Victoria came with lots of stainless steel trim and a sleek roofline. Please call or email with any questions or for additional information.
