1956 Ford Thunderbird 312 V8 Automatic Dana 44 Rear Great Cruiser Convertible

Here we have a 1956 Ford Thunderbird for sale. This car has been locally owned in our area for the past 20 years. It's done in a gorgeous color combo and is an excellent cruiser that ready to turn key and enjoy. Don't miss out on this iconic Ford that is sure to turn heads everywhere you go. The body on it is all solid and it has excellent fit of all the panels. Down the sides and we can see that it has excellent gaps. It's showcased by the Diamond Blue color scheme that is accented by the White Soft Top. The paint has been kept polished up to a beautiful finish that's slick to the touch. The top is in excellent condition and as we can see it easily comes off and goes back on. Up front we can see that the bumper has a brilliant shine along with the grill. Out back the rear bumper is equally impressive, and it has the continental kit. You can also see that the taillights and bezels are beautiful as well. All the glass in this Ford is in excellent condition along with all the seals and the weatherstripping. The factory gauges are in great condition and are working as they should. We can see this '56 has the factory style steering wheel that's equally nice. The carpet is in great condition for it's age. Finally, we will get to the driveline of this Ford. It's powered by the 312 V8 engine that looks like it would have when it came home from the dealership in '56. It's setup with the factory ECZ 9425 A intake and Holley Teapot 4 Barrel Carb. We can see that it's dressed in the original Thunderbird valve covers along with having the factory air cleaner. The engine bay is all neat and clean from the inner fenders to the firewall. For exhaust it has manifolds with stock style Mufflers and dual pipes that exit out the back. This V8 is mated to the Fordomatic Transmission and Dana 44 Rear End. When we look under this Thunderbird you are sure to be impressed as all of the floor pans look to be original and solid. The frame is also in excellent condition and shows no signs of abuse from over the years. A new gas tank has been installed and all the fuel lines are in good condition. Under the front all the suspension looks good. The brakes are standard with drums on all four corners. On the highway this little TBird is a great cruiseras the engine performs excellent, and the transmission shifts out with ease.
