Beautifully Restored 1946 GMC CC-102 Pickup, 228 I6, 3-Speed, Heater
Welcome to Street Dreams as we celebrate our 24th year in the classic and muscle car business. GMC has been in the business of building tough, reliable, and sometimes beautiful trucks since GM formed the General Motors Truck Company in 1911. Steadily learning and growing, GMC supplied 8512 trucks to the U.S. government during WWI. By the time WWII had ended in 1945, GMC had produced 600,000 trucks for the U.S. Armed Forces! This stunning 1946 GMC pickup appears to have been built between August and November of 1945, indicating an extremely early postwar truck and is the reason that the chrome "General Motors Truck" spear on the hood is painted. Beneath said hood is the 228 ci I6 that faithfully served GMC for so long. Additional features include a 3-speed manual transmission, heater, and 6.00-16LT tires mounted on correct steel wheels with correct caps and rings. This jewel was previously in the amazing Bryan Frank collection, an indication of its stellar quality. During the frame-off restoration a brand new metal box was found and installed, after which it sold at Barrett-Jackson in 2012. If this rare and stunning classic belongs in your collection, call the team that can make your dream a reality. Street Dreams (830-997-1950) is a full service dealership that can assist with worldwide delivery, insurance, and financing options.
