Cruisin Classics is proud to present to you today this over-the-top 1973 Volkswagen Super Beetle! This freshly restored beauty has over $12K in receipts for work done in the past year alone. This bug is dressed in high driver quality two-tone Teal and White paint and it looks spectacular. High quality brightwork abounds with a hood center-strip and handle, headlight bezels, turn signals, bumper molding, body side molding, window air deflectors, rear air inlets, door handles, and dual side mirrors. The running boards are solid and feature new mats and edge molding. Both the body gaskets and the window gaskets appear to be in new condition. In the rear you'll find clear, new-looking tail-lights and dual chrome exhaust tips. This Beetle has a nice proud stance as it sits atop chrome rally wheels with center caps and beauty rings – all wrapped in newer Pirelli P4 tires. The front trunk is completely carpeted in black and a teal VW emblem and Volkswagen lettering have been added for a nice touch. Around back in the rear trunk is truly a sight to behold – a brand new, all chrome-plated 2110cc motor with over 150hp on tap! This sure isn't your grandpa's VW! The engine features 4 single barrel carburetors and looks simply amazing. The custom chrome exhaust system underneath not only looks great but it produces an awesome sound when given a little throttle. The engine is mated to a rebuilt 4-speed manual transmission that adds to the driving excitement. With the increased engine power came the need for more stopping power, which was addressed by the addition of 4-wheel disc brakes. Open the drivers door to reveal an incredibly clean black vinyl interior accented with touches of teal and white. The door seals appear new, door panels with map pockets are in great shape, and a new (non-OEM) sill plate has been added. The bucket seats are very comfortable and have obviously been redone. The black carpet and carpeted floor mats look new and the tight white vinyl headliner does as well. The crack-free dash houses working fan controls, rear defrost switch, a glovebox with original owners manual, and a Pioneer AM/FM/CD stereo. The stereo powers 2 speakers on the front kick panels as well as 2 speakers on the custom black vinyl rear package tray. The driver is treated to a 3-spoke EMPI wood steering wheel for good looks and longevity. There may still be a lot of old VW's on the road, but a rare few fall into the same class as this stunning Super Beetle.
