Wild 1939 Mercury Convertible Coupe, Ford Racing 302, TCI Chassis, 5-Speed, A/C
Welcome to Street Dreams as we celebrate our 25th year in the classic and muscle car business. Mercury was a brand of automobile produced by the Ford Motor Company from 1939 until 2010. Conceived largely by Edsel Ford to fill the market gap between Ford and Lincoln, the line was shifted in 1945 to form half of the new Lincoln-Mercury division. Mercury automobiles always seemed to have a very loyal customer pool, and the division's closure doesn't seem to have diminished the enthusiasm of its fans. This amazing 1939 Mercury Convertible Club Coupe is a beautifully crafted street rod with classic lines and a multitude of upgrades that vastly improve the safety, comfort, and performance of this show stopper. Lift the cool triangular hood and you'll see a Ford Racing 302 V8 that's sporting a Demon carburetor, an Edelbrock Performer RPM aluminum intake manifold, headers, and a nice serpentine belt assembly. Additional features include rack and pinion steering, 4-wheel disc brakes, power windows, Vintage Air A/C, Tremec 5-speed manual transmission, highly detailed TCI chassis sporting a Ford 9" rear end with coilovers and tubular A-arms, custom interior with leather upholstery, 1949 Mercury tail lights, cool flush Mercedes-Benz headlights, AM/FM/CD stereo, and BFG G-Force radial tires (245/45ZR17 F, 255/50ZR17 R) wrapped around Billet Specialties alloy wheels. This all-steel first-year Mercury is professionally crafted from front to back and top to bottom, all clearly visible in the images provided. One more crimson cruiser from the Texas Hill Country's premier source for classic cars and the team that can make your dream a reality. Street Dreams (830-997-1950) is a full service dealership that can assist with worldwide delivery, insurance, and financing options.
