"Frankenstein" Street Legal Race Car
This is a 1966 912 converted to the monster it is now. The car has been gutted to just the chassis, lightened, replaced with carbon fiber, and rebuilt with a 3.2 liter, 6-cylinder Carrera engine producing over 350 horsepower. The ignition is controlled by a special MSD ignition control system. The interior is mostly carbon fiber, consisting of a roll cage, racing seats, and race straps. Air-jacks have been installed in the car for easy management at the track. The fuel cell has been uprated to 100 liters as well as the brakes, and the car has been fitted with a fully adjustable Bilstein Nürburgring suspension kit. 968RS and 964 CUP brakes have been installed along with 2-piece Big Braid Wheels and Toyo Proxes R888 Tires. The car features a fully removable front hood and rear deck, removable headlight covers which are plastic, front and rear tow hooks, and a carbon fiber front splitter. The engine is freshly rebuilt by John Forbes in December 2023, and has not been on a dyno since. The car is registered and titled in North Carolina.
