This sporty GTV is finished in Alfa Red paint with a black vinyl interior. The interior is in great shape and features big analog gauges slanted towards the driver, wood accents on the center section and steering wheel as well as 4-seats. This Alfa is powered by a 1,779cc fuel-injected 4-cylinder engine paired to a 5-speed manual transmission that produces 130HP, which is a lot for such a small displacement engine. Weighing only 2300 pounds, this British sports car can reach speeds upwards of 120mph! The GTV coupe was elegant and usable, four-wheel disc brakes, reclining seats, and full instrumentation. Due to emissions and labor strikes, the 1968 and 1970 model years were not imported to the US, 1969 was the only year the GTV passed emissions thanks to its new SPICA fuel-injection system. Production numbers were quite low for the Alfa GTV at only about 8,700 units, and 1969 was the only year with the 1750 engine available in the US before being replaced by the GTV 2000. All Alfas of this period handle extremely well, with superior turn-in to any equivalent British sports car. The Alfa also features panasport style wheels, Koni red shocks and sport springs for stance and improved road handling. The 1750 and 2000 GTV models have a cult following, with certain sects favoring the smoothness of the 1750 over the power of the 2000.
