Sedan deliveries have always been made in small numbers, but this 1946 Ford Sedan Delivery Hot Rod is very rare, with only 3187 produced for the 1946 model year. This rare Ford has been customized to deliver an old school vibe that is nostalgic and fun. Finished handsomely in black, it features a louvered hood, frenched rear license plate and bright chrome grill and bumpers. Little details such as the traditional style pinstriping and small, round, dual high-mounted “peep” mirrors add to the look of this hot rod Ford. Lowered, but not too low to drive anywhere, plus a set of wide Chevrolet rally wheels with trim rings and vintage Ford logo moon caps wrapped with Komho Solus KR21 radial tires staggered 215/75R15 front and 235/75R15 rear for the perfect hot rod stance.

The black interior features pleated vinyl bucket seats and door panels in the traditional hot rod style. The dash bezel has been chrome plated and vintage style modern gauges have been installed in the stock locations. Additionally, there is a retro style stereo with Ford logo, air conditioning (although it will need servicing to blow cold again) and a tilt steering column. The cargo area is nicely trimmed in black carpet.

Under the louvered hood is a smooth-running 350 cubic inch Chevy engine mated to a TH350 automatic transmission. The engine is fed by an Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold topped with an Edelbrock carburetor and chrome open element air cleaner. Other under hood features include an aluminum radiator with electric fan, power front disc brakes, power steering, chrome valve covers and a chrome alternator. A dual exhaust system delivers a healthy hot rod rumble with not being too loud.
