GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present an extremely clean and intricately detailed 1948 Chevrolet 2-Door Sedan Delivery Street Rod Style Master. This car is immaculate from top to bottom and performs incredibly well. It's been outfitted with a manicured small block 350 paired with a steering column shifter TH350 automatic transmission. It features front disc brakes, 5-spoke chrome wheels, dual exhaust, a custom audio system, Edelbrock carburetor, power brakes, power stearing, upgraded leather bucket seats, a gorgeous airbrush paint job, and lots of chrome.

A sedan delivery is simply a two-door station wagon with only front seats and with sheet metal panels covering where the rear windows would be. It is a vehicle that became popular with many businesses such as plumbers, couriers, local merchants, and many more, and is still used to this day as an innovative way of combining a smaller more efficient vehicle with the utilitarian use needed for smaller jobs that don't require the extra size. The earlier 50's Chevrolet sedan deliveries were attractive and dependable which really boosted the value of these long past their creation and continued to grow in popularity decades later to those who collect due to the scarcity of remaining models that weren't used so much for work that they had completely deteriorated. These work vehicles were used for many applications and many miles which limited the amount of survivors compared to your standard sedan used for families.
