“Cruise the Riviera”
First introduced in 1963, the Buick Riviera stunned the world with its drop dead gorgeous styling, powerful engines, and abundance of luxury. Jaguar founder and designer Sir William Lyons said that the designers had done "a very wonderful job," and Sergio Pininfarina declared it "one of the most beautiful American cars ever built; it has marked a very impressive return to simplicity of American car design." Soldiering on for another eight generations, the Riviera was the de facto flagship for the brand. The 6th generation was introduced in 1979 and was the first from wheel drive Riviera. Sales were high, and over 65k were sold in 1985.
GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this lovely 1985 Riviera for your consideration. The current owner of this car purchased the car from the original owner. It is powered by its 305 V8 paired with an automatic transmission. Highlights include Electronic Touch Climate Control, AM/FM/Cassette player, owner's manual and cassettes, tilt wheel, cruise, power windows and power locks, power steering and power brakes, power sunroof, 15-inch factory wheels, car cover, spare tire, power assist close trunk, rear defrost and soft top.
This lovely classic has been kept in very good condition. The car runs and drives very well and is a comfortable cruiser. The car comes with a few receipts from over the years.
