There are Tigers, there are stock Tigers, there are upgraded Tigers and then there is this Bad Ass Tiger. Let's open by saying this one has lots of paperwork back to day one and this car is indeed an extremely rare Factory Black over Red interior car. Pretty nice start.

Now let's add in a Ford Performance 302, 340 HP crate motor backed by a Tremec 5-speed and now we are talking some serious motivation. One quick trip around the block and you will realize this is not your grandpas Tiger but is more Cobra and Restomod like... As Carroll Shelby said in his ad from the 60's “You don't just start it...you unleash it”. Something tells me if old Shel had a chance to drive this one, he'd be smiling from ear to ear.

Yes, for the record, this Tiger does have its pedigree paperwork – A certificate of authenticity from the Sunbeam Tiger Owners Association.

This beautiful, factory black, Tiger has benefitted from a ground up restoration and it was restored by someone who knew what they were doing. Look at the black paint that has been laid on this car and it has been done over some very well prepped and straight metal. It's not easy to get a black car look this good and this straight. Interior, beautifully redone, chrome, beautifully redone. And the mechanicals, oh the mechanicals. There is a new sot top present that fits very nicely- I hope it's never put up again. Driven a number of really nice Cobras- this car is special.

We have a rare factory hardtop that goes with the car and it is restored to a very nice level save for a couple of latches that still need to be sourced.

Take a look at the EXTENSIVE paperwork that documents this car. We have a folder of receipts from the restoration and we have the original top loader 4 speed and a complete 289 that came to us with the car that will go with it. Should you ever want to put the original 4-speed back in it and source a 260 V8 that is certainly doable but would beg the question- Why would you ever do that?
