According to its documented provenance, this Roadster is believed to be one of the vehicles stolen by the infamous outlaw John Dillinger during his crime spree in the early 1930s. Historical records indicate that Dillinger stole a 1929 Ford Model A in St. Paul, Minnesota, in 1934 while fleeing law enforcement. The vehicle was later recovered after being abandoned in Chicago. Dillinger was known to favor Ford automobiles for their speed, reliability, and widespread availability. Accompanying the car is an Illinois title documenting a transfer dated June 1, 1936, adding another intriguing chapter to its unique story.

Interior:

The cabin retains the simple elegance that made the Model A an American icon. Power comes from Ford's dependable 201ci L-head inline-four, equipped with a Zenith single-barrel carburetor and factory rated at 40 horsepower and 128 lb-ft of torque. Since 2020, maintenance has included cleaning the fuel tank and carburetor to help ensure reliable operation. Power is delivered to the rear wheels through the original-style three-speed manual transmission, providing the authentic driving experience that has made the Model A one of America's most beloved collector cars.
