The Lincoln Cosmopolitan was introduced to the new car market in 1949 as one of Lincoln's full size luxury automobiles. The Cosmopolitan was available in a number of body styles including the 2-door coupe, 2-door convertible and the 4 door sedan. All 4-door sedan Cosmopolitans featured the very desirable "suicide" rear doors. This 1950 Lincoln Cosmopolitan sedan is a very nice, unrestored example of these great classic luxury cars with just under 41,000 actual miles. This beautiful Lincoln benefits from an older repaint in its correct Black exterior paint that shines very well and is in very good condition throughout. Complimenting the Lincoln's Black exterior is its factory chrome and stainless trim, factory hood ornament, factory "Cosmopolitan" and Lincoln crests and factory steel wheels and polished hubcaps wrapped in Coker Classic wide whitewall radial tires. This Lincoln Cosmopolitan still retains its factory Brown leather interior that is in very good condition for the age. Powering the Lincoln is its very dependable 337 cubic inch flathead V8 backed by its Hydramatic 4-speed automatic transmission. Both the engine and transmission perform just as they should and have no problem pulling this full size Lincoln down the road with ease. This Lincoln Cosmopolitan is nicely equipped with factory options such as: electro-hydraulic power windows, power seat, AM radio (in-op), heater/defrost and wipers. If you are in the market for a rarely seen, full-size Lincoln equipped with those iconic suicide doors that would present very well at a local car show or cruise-in, then you will want to take a very close look at this gorgeous 1950 Lincoln Cosmopolitan.
