1949 Buick Super Convertible, 248 inline 8-cylinder engine, manual 3-speed column-mounted transmission, large amounts of chrome detailing, venta ports, and wide whitewall tires. The Cream color paint has an original look to it, and though showing minor touch-ups, is in good overall shape. The interior appears largely original and well-maintained, with black vinyl seats, power windows, and a stock radio, though some wear and minor cracks in the side glass are noted. The convertible top operates via a 12-volt system powering the windows and top mechanism, which functions well but requires some attention to the rear glass zipper and side glass cracks. The car's mechanical condition is sound for casual driving and show purposes, though some maintenance on tires, brakes, and kingpins will be necessary for long-term use. The piano-style hood opens from either side to reveal the Fireball inline 8-cylinder engine. Featuring original push-button start and a dimmable rearview mirror—an advanced feature for its time.
