GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this lovely little 1949 MG TC Roadster for consideration. This TC Roadster has been enthusiast owned for many years and has benefited from a highly detailed, selective style restoration / refurbishment with the intent of preserving the original integrity of the car. This is an older restoration that has held up very well over the years.

This TC Roadster is finished in classic MG Red over Biscuit interior. It is powered by its 1225 CC inline 4 cylinder engine, 4 speed manual transmission and rear wheel drive. The car features its classic 19 inch knock off wire wheels, luggage rack, original dash and gauges, original ID Tags, original engine XPAG tag and number, much of the original hardware, original wood structure, refurbished original stand up grille, original "King of the Road" headlamps, etc.

The exterior paint shows very deep and glossy, the exterior trim and stainless remains very good and what appears to be in original condition, the wire wheels are clean and roll true. The interior remains very clean and the original dash, steering wheel and gauges give the car a perfect amount of patina. Under the hood, the 1250cc engine and engine bay are very tidy and the underside remains structurally excellent.

Mechanically, this TC is dialed in and has just been serviced by Rusty Moose Garage, the heir apparent to the legendary John Twist of University Motors. It has recently been tuned and serviced.

The MG TC's are by far the most elegant of the T Cars. The classic lines, tall grille and tall wire wheels exemplify British styling of its day. The car here is a high quality example both cosmetically and mechanically with all correct styling. A must for any English Roadster enthusiast.
