This 1957 Ford Thunderbird was initially delivered to Bacon and Sons Ford in Hermosa Beach, California, and it was acquired by the current owner in 1993. A 2004 refurbishment involved a repaint in white, a refresh of the interior, and the installation of a Ford Performance 302ci V8 crate engine as well as a Ford AOD four-speed automatic transmission. Other details include dual Edelbrock carburetors, Sanderson headers, a Compushift transmission controller, and a 3.89 gear set along with 17″ American racing wheels, front disc brakes, sway bars, and a dual exhaust system. Leather upholstery covers the bench seat, and air conditioning has been installed. Work in preparation for the sale involved replacing the battery, serpentine belt, and one of the Sanderson headers. This Thunderbird is now offered on dealer consignment with a hardtop, a copy of the dealer invoice, refurbishment records, and a clean Oregon title.
