This 1923 Ford T-Bucket replica is the classic hot rod as envisioned by the legend George Barris. The fiberglass body is finished in Triple Coat Yellow Pearl and its 2-piece folding windshield w/brass hardware blends seamlessly with other features including full front/rear fenders, brass radiator shell, polished brass firewall, brass bulb horn and a wealth of chrome/billet. Period-correct brass taillight assemblies look fantastic and a chrome Nitrous Oxide tank is mounted on the rear deck (not functional - for show only). The interior is classic hot rod with stunning diamond tufted black vinyl upholstery. Carpeting is new, the polished brass dash contains a full set of Stewart Warner gauges and safety features include seat belts and fire extinguisher. Horsepower comes from a fully-dressed, built 350ci Chevy small block. It is fitted with mild street cam, aluminum 'Offenhauser-style' Tunnel Ram Dual Quad intake and (2) Holley 450cfm carburetors that have been professional tuned. Exhaust is routed through chrome tube-headers to free-flowing side pipes. Behind this strong powerplant sits a GM Turbo400 3-speed automatic and a 10-bolt GM positraction differential with street gearing. The custom chassis mounts a dropped front axle w/modified radius rods, a transverse front leaf spring and a lot of chrome. The rear axle setup utilizes ladder bars and coil-over shocks. This package rides nicely and handles well. Chromed slotted wheels mount bias ply tires - 15” Goodyears in front and Kelly Super Charger N50-15 treads in the rear (similar to the Mickey Thompson 'Sportsman' series tires).
