Under the hood, the original Ford powertrain has been upgraded to a reliable Ford 302 cubic inch V8 engine paired with an automatic transmission shifted on the floor. Equipped with modern performance and comfort upgrades including four-wheel disc brakes, cold-blowing air conditioning, power windows, and electric fan switch. Stereo does not power up. The interior complements the exterior with a custom violet and black theme, bucket seats, a banjo-style wheel and tilt steering column, aftermarket gauges. The battery has been relocated behind the rear seat, and the car features safety enhancements such as seat belts and a battery shut-off switch. The speedometer reads high, the rest of the gauges function well. The hood opens from either side via a pull knob on each side under the dash, the hood is also completely removable by activating both rods. On the road the car's smooth ride and easy handling is noted, making it a fun and practical street rod for cruising or shows.
