1942 Chevy Pick Up Truck, Rare Pre-War Model, Beautifully Restored collectible

This Chevy pickup is a rare, Art Deco-styled classic, sporting its rounded fenders, bold grille with horizontal and vertical bars, and streamlined look. This metallic blue beauty is powered by a durable 216 original Inline six-cylinder engine and 4-speed manual transmission, marking the end of civilian truck production before WWII halted output, making it highly collectible for its historical significance and timeless design.
The 1940 classic body design features longer, lower and more massive styling with deep front fender and a large hood. From its signature grille with vertical and horizontal bars, large headlights, chrome strips on sides, this Chevy truck embodies the classic design of pre-war automotive style. The rich metallic blue paint is buffed and polished to a flawless mirror finish that makes a stunning presentation. Maintaining the original look, the 16-inch steel wheels have been expertly restored in red and chrome with the hub caps bearing the Chevrolet emblem.
This truck previously had a frame-up restoration, having had all body bushings replaced and a 6 to12 volt electrical system conversion. The renovation included a beautiful, new Oak wood bed with stainless steel connecting stripes adding to the striking appearance of this classic show piece.
