This 1955 Cadillac Coupe de Ville is an original Los Angeles-built car showing 24,171 original miles and retaining its original numbers-matching 331 cubic-inch V8. It spent most of its life as a garage-kept Southern California automobile before recently being acquired from a private collection in Oklahoma. The car has received one older repaint in its original Ruskin Blue and shows no evidence of rust repair or accident damage.

The original Light Blue and Dark Blue interior has been exceptionally well preserved, reflecting the care the car has received throughout its life. Factory equipment includes power steering, power brakes, power windows, the original Rochester four-barrel carburetor, and Cadillac's four-speed Hydra-Matic automatic transmission, all contributing to the smooth, effortless driving experience that established Cadillac as America's premier luxury automobile during the 1950s.

To improve comfort and reliability, the car has received a Vintage Air climate control system, serviced in August 2025, along with a comprehensive mechanical inspection and service completed at the same time. New tires have also been installed, making the car ready for regular driving and touring.

This Coupe de Ville remains in remarkably well-preserved condition throughout. The body is straight, the chrome and trim present well, and the car starts easily, runs smoothly, and drives exactly as a well-maintained Cadillac should. It is an exceptionally honest example that has been preserved rather than restored.
