1947 Ford Deluxe four-door sedan. Dark navy blue with a considerable amount of shiny brightwork and chrome, such as the front grille, bumpers, and headlight surrounds. Under the hood sits the iconic 239 cubic inch flathead V8 engine paired with a 3-speed manual transmission mounted on the steering column, commonly referred to as a “three-on-the-tree.” The vehicle retains many original features including its oil bath style air cleaner, 6-volt electrical system, and original style gauges. The exterior condition is mostly clean, with minor imperfections. Riding on wide whitewall radial tires. Equipped with suicide-style rear doors, offering spacious access to the interior, which features a neutral cloth interior with a standard 1940s dashboard layout and rubber flooring. The engine compartment is tidy with a recent battery installation. The flathead V8 runs smoothly with oil pressure and temperature gauges behaving normally. During the test drive, the car demonstrates good braking, smooth clutch and transmission operation.
