Mr. Glenn's 1955 Chevy Belair 2 Door Hardtop
Mr. Glenn's 1955 Chevy Bel-Air came to us as a very nice car to start with, that will now be taken to the point to were he can enjoy the car a little more, with a LS conversion and several other little touches.
-Original Motor and Transmission Pulled Out
-Engine Stands Fixed due to being put in incorrectly
-Adjustable tubular upper control Arms on the front added to fix front end alignment issue
-Rear end center section pin added
Note: this pin was missing from the car when we got it to work on, this was causing the axles to have to much movement inside the rear end, and mushrooming the c-clips that actually hold the axles in and the rotors to hit the calipers causing braking issues.
-Rear Brakes shimmed so not to drag the rotors
-Motor completely gone throw
-Texas Racing cam kit added to the motor
-ARP head studs added to the motor
-Custom pulley system added to the front of the motor
-Engine installed
-Transmission Installed
-Drive Shaft Installed
-Upgraded the trans cooler to one with a Fan
-Spare tire hole taken out/ Smooth Plate added
-ECU mounted under the dash
-Electric gas pedal modified/shortened to fit and mounted
-Battery relocated to the trunk behind the false wall with new mounts
-Battery cables run under the car
Stay tuned as this car is coming together quick and getting ready to hit the road.
