The GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1963 Studebaker Gran Turismo Goldenhawk for your consideration. This vehicle is finished in a black exterior that shows well with some imperfections throughout. The two tone “tuxedo” interior of this Studebaker appears to be recently reupholstered with black and white leather throughout the interior. At the time of release, this vehicle marked the top of the line for Studebaker products and was very well equipped for the time with features. Powering this vehicle is a 289ci V8 which sends the power to the rear wheels through an automatic transmission. This vehicle has recently been treated to brand new tires including a matching spare. Currently showing 65,202 miles on the odometer, this Studebaker is an excellent example to drive and enjoy.
The Studebaker Gran Turismo Hawk (or GT Hawk) was a grand touring coupe sold by Studebaker motors between 1962 and 1964. The top of the Studebaker line, it was the final development of the Hawk series that began with the Golden Hawk in 1956. For 1963 the car was slightly restyled, with refinements to the front, sides, and rear. Round parking lights below the headlights replaced the previous rectangular ones, set into the corners of the newly closed side grilles that bore a squared pattern of lines over fine mesh. This same squared mesh pattern was carried over onto the main grille, replacing the simple fine mesh of the 1962 models. Early in 1963 production the parking light bezels were changed and the right side of the dash became woodgrain, matching the area around the instruments.
Price does not include applicable tax, title, license, processing and/or $199 documentation fees.
