The GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1956 Ford Thunderbird for your consideration. This vehicle was restored prior to the selling owner purchasing the vehicle in 2002, over the last twenty years this Thunderbird has been driven on rare occasions and currently shows 21,227 miles on the odometer. The exterior is finished in Colonial White which is in excellent condition and shows no major flaws or imperfections. Having been properly stored for many years, the tuxedo interior of this vehicle is also in good shape, and shows very little wear. Powering this Ford is a 312ci V8 which sends the power to the rear wheels through a 3-speed automatic transmission. This vehicle features the continental kit and hardtop with portholes.

The Ford Thunderbird is a personal luxury car produced by Ford from model years 1955 until 1997 and 2002 until 2005 throughout 11 distinct generations. The Thunderbird entered production for the 1955 model year as a sporty two-seat convertible. Unlike the Chevrolet Corvette, it was not marketed as a sports car. Ford positioned the Thunderbird as an upscale model and it is credited in developing a new market segment, the personal luxury car. For 1958, the Thunderbird was redesigned with a second row of seats.
