“Texas Ranch Hand”

The B-series trucks by Dodge were built from 1948 through 1953. They were called the “Pilot House” trucks because of the redesign giving the driver better visibility than previous trucks and for the first time had optional ¾ rear windows that allowed for even more visibility. The ½ ton trucks were 95 HP 6-cylinders while the ¾ ton trucks were given 108 HP. These are really cool trucks given you still see Ford and Chevys but not so much the Dodges in these years. This particular stunning dry example hails from TX just days ago. We have been all through this truck including the underside and I cant find any corrosion anywhere. I don't even see a drop of oil on the floor.

This truck fires right up, shifts and goes down the road, as I am sure it did new some 73 years ago. The wipers and lights work and well…..that's pretty much it for options. I consider the cosmetics to be a very good driver quality as the paint was done sometime ago and it appears the bright work is original, however still very presentable.
