1968 Volkswagen Beatle Custom

Starting with a 1968 VW Bug, The Gotham Garage crew built this raked, stretched Spyder entirely from parts around the shop. The signature element of the build, the rounded rear deck is actually a clever re-use of the roof, turned backwards and trimmed to fit. A chrome solid front axle mounted way out in front of the hood gives the car a classic hot rod look, amplified by the traditional split DuVall windshield.

This Hot Rod is highly modified with custom upgrades from the Extensive signature pin striping by world famous “Hot Dog Customs” to the hand stitched interior and wrap around chrome exhaust side pipes.The exhaust sound has a sweet tune that is Volkswagen kicked up couple of levels.

Black matte patina hot rod paint finish with removable top camel cloth custom made top. This Dub is 100% Southern California street machine from front to back like no other.
4 inch wide white wall Firestone tires set the profile with moon chrome wheels.

Mechanically this Bug runs and drives however, should be completely inspected and serviced prior to driving on the interstate or out of town.

Powered by a 1500CC VW engine with a 4 speed manual gearbox. Lights and turn signals all work + brake lights good to go.
Has Gotham Garage signature touches on the hood, trunk and the steering wheel center cap. Custom hand made Leather straps and buckles secure the hood, rear engine bonnet as well as front removable top.

VW guys will be buggin out when you pull up to local car show or cruise with this sicko custom so be ready to tell a story.
