Just out of a private collection, GR Auto Gallery is excited to present beautiful and interesting 1958 Volvo PV444 Coupe for sale. Restored to stock form to include the B16A 1600cc inline 4 cylinder engine, dual carbs, 4 speed manual transmission and rear wheel drive. The car is finished in Ruby Red, an original color offered by Volvo at the time, over a red and ivory white two-tone interior. At just 73 horsepower, the PV444 was not an overly powerful vehicle for its time, however it was known as extremely reliable and efficient for its day. Top speed was rated at 73 miles per hr. Features included: Coil over suspension, dual side draft carbs, floor shift manual transmission and a curb weight of just over 2000 pounds.

The car features an older restoration that has held up very well over time. The Ruby Red exterior paint remains deep and glossy, the door, panel fit is proper, and is free from any major imperfections. The interior is very clean and complete. The seats and door panels have been professionally re-upholstered, new carpet and refurbished painted surfaces. The car appears to retain its original factory gauges and the glass is clear and free from defects. The underside and unibody construction of the vehicle is clean and appears structurally sound. The componentry appears to be up to date with wear items in good condition. The engine and engine bay appear clean and serviced. Hoses, belts and wear items appear to be functional in in good condition.
