This Ford is an older restoration, but still presents well and is just perfect for someone who wants a cool ride without breaking the bank. The bright red paint with yellow and orange flames certainly grabs attention and looks great with the chrome double bullet front end. The paint is showing its age in a few spots, but still looks good overall. The chrome on this car is abundant and is in generally good condition with some light pitting here and there. Walking around the car you'll notice some very cool features like the airplane hood ornament, split windshield, power antenna, third brake light, and chrome dual exhaust tips. This Ford rides on a set of Billet Specialties wheels with BF Goodrich Touring TA's on the front and Radial TA's on the back. Under the hood lies a small-block Ford V-8 mated to a 3-speed automatic transmission with a Lokar shifter. Also in the engine bay you'll notice chrome valve covers, a Champion radiator with electric fan, an Edelbrock carburetor and intake, a MSD distributor, rack and pinion steering, and headers. Also present is an aftermarket AC unit which is only partially hooked up and is currently inoperable. Braking power comes from front disc and rear drum brakes. The front suspension features independent A-arms, springs, and shocks while the rear is longitudinal leaf springs and shocks. Open the drivers door to find a custom grey interior with cloth bench seats, and matching door cards and headliner. The dash-plate is a red non-OEM piece but it houses the original speedometer/gauge unit and knobs. Also in the dash is an Eclipse AM/FM/CD stereo with 4 Clarion speakers to add some tunes to your cruise.
