1947 Chevrolet Loadmaster 5400 COE 5-Window truck finished in Red and Black paint. This truck has a 134" wheelbase with dual rear wheels. Being a COE (cabover engine) vehicle, the cab is raised higher while the engine is pushed backwards, ultimately resulting in the driver sitting above the engine. Riding on black wheels. Powered by the 235 Inline 6 that is paired to a manual transmission. Chrome and brightwork on this truck are in excellent shape, shows very well against that glossy paint. Flatbed with stakes installed on it does have PTO lift also! The lift is operated with a rod on the driver's side when pushed towards the front will raise the bed, and pushed towards the rear will lower it. Wood bed is in great shape, shows this was a restoration that someone took pride in. Black vinyl bench seat interior with manual on the floor. Dash has been left stock and was a good choice considering how great it looks still! Previous owner did note that the key is on when it is straight up in the ignition. Starter is on the floor next to the shifter and the T-handle next to that is the PTO drive (pull up to engage). Wiring is new also. Stock sounding Chevrolet Cabover!
