1973 Porsche

911T 3.2L Coupe

Description

This 1973 Porsche 911T features a 3.2L flat-six engine connected to a 915/73 five-speed manual transmission and is finished in ivory with a black interior. The powertrain conversion, a bare-metal repaint, an interior makeover, and the addition of a sunroof roof panel were all part of the 2010 refurbishment. Refinished 16-inch Fuchs alloy wheels, an Elephant Racing oil cooler, and 911S trim are among the extra features. originally had a silver finish and came with tinted windows, a S front spoiler, and trim. A sunroof clip was welded in during a renovation, and an ivory bare-metal painting was done. H5 halogen headlights have been installed in their stead. 16'' Fuchs with staggered widths are 6'' in front and 7'' in back. In California, Al Reed reconditioned the wheels.

Reproduction sun visors, black and charcoal carpet, and black upholstery with Pepita seat inserts from Autos International Inc. were added to the remodeled interior. There is a rear defroster, however it is not hooked in. A 1984 Carrera tachometer is in front of a leather-wrapped steering wheel. The vendor mentions that Palo Alto Speedometer fixed the speedometer so it would function with the electronic speed sensor found in the later-model transaxle. The actual number is unknown, however the five-digit odometer shows 489 miles since the engine reseal. 200k miles or so might be covered. Power is provided by a 3.2L flat-six engine from a later 911 model year combined with a 1986 Carrera's 915/73 five-speed manual transaxle. Before the engine was mounted, Ollie's Engineering finished the valve job and fitted new chains, guides, seals, clutch, clutch cable, and related hardware. Elephant Racing fitted new S-style oil cooler and lines, as well as a high-torque starter and fuel pump. The Bosch Motronic ECU unit has been rebuilt.
