This 1966 Mercury Cyclone GT hardtop has been part of a 40 car collection for 9 years and has been stored within climate controlled facilities during that time. It is equipped with a 390ci V8 engine producing 335HP and mated to a floor mounted 3 speed automatic transmission (Sport Shift Merc-O-Matic) which can be shifted completely manually when desired. Additional equipment and options include power steering, manual brakes, twin scoop GT hood, dual exhaust, engine dress up kit, new heavy duty springs/shocks and large diameter stabilizer bar. Sold new to Mr. Jack Stoker of Detroit Michigan on February 22, 1966 by Stu Evans Mercury of Garden City Michigan; this beauty was restored and repainted to a very high standard in the early teens before being purchased by the current owner. The body is laser straight with tight panel gaps and the undercarriage is as clean as the top. The current owner has driven over 5,000 trouble free miles and has continued with regular maintenance, fluid changes and detailing.
