FUEL INJECTED 4.6L V8, OVERDRIVE TRANSMISSION, BEAUTIFUL RED PAINT, GREAT LOOK!
Wouldn't you just love to have a vintage pickup that was made to comfortably cruise everywhere? This 1952 Ford F-1 combines the best of old-school looks on the outside with a fuel-injected V8 and overdrive transmission. In other words, here's your new favorite ride.
The solid red body is the color of strength. The tall hood, squared-off fenders, and steel running boards add to the robust style that makes a classic pickup awesome. But there's more going on here. The red is a more modern application with a nice deep shine. It's quite attractive on its own while also giving a nice stand-out contrast to the distinct F-Series white grille, bright chrome bumpers, and glossy lumber on the truck bed floor. And those turbine-style wheels give this the right look of a proper cruiser.
Your first impression of the interior might just be of a clean and classic cab. After all, you have the classic steel dash and a big three-spoke steering wheel. There are even good investments in details like the bench seat and window seals. But there's something more going on here. The B&M floor shifter is not something you needed in Grandpa's ride. And when you twist the key, there's a very modern glow from the digital gauges.
Under the hood is a big upgrade in blue oval power. It's a 4.6-liter fuel-injected V8 borrowed from a Lincoln. So you have nice power, true smoothness, and enviable consistency. The donor motor continues to have accessories like a power steering pump and an A/C compressor if you want to add components to finish the feature. It's built to be a driver, and so you have modern cruising tires and an AOD four-speed transmission with highway-friendly overdrive.
We like how this truck has an old-school style and ride, and that's mixed with a new-school level of flair and fuel-injected power. It's a cool combo that we just don't often see. And not only is it distinct from day one, but we bet there are also plenty of you out there thinking about the known ways these first-gen F-Series trucks love upgrades. You can add an A-arm independent front end, a Crown Vic rear, four-wheel disc brakes, or any other details that you want for the restomod of your dreams. After all, when you have a shining legend that already has a fuel-injected V8 heart, the potential is nearly endless. Call today!!!
