Reimel Motor Cars is proud to offer this 1971 Porsche 911 S with only 18,405 miles. Finished in Light Ivory over Black leatherette with Pepita (houndstooth) cloth inserts.
Purchased new in Stuttgart, Germany by a US Air Force serviceman, the car was reportedly imported to California in 1974 and remained with the original owner's family until 2019. The body was refinished in the factory Light Ivory in the 2000s. Equipment includes color-matched bumpers with overiders, sugar scoop headlights with polished rings, a driver's side mirror, and an aluminum rear decklid with gold badging.
Power comes from a numbers-matching 2.2-liter flat-six paired with a five-speed manual transaxle. The car features iconic 15″ Fuchs wheels, Koni shocks, four-wheel disc brakes, a heater, and period-correct Coco floor mats.
The mechanical fuel injection system was overhauled in 2014. and the exhaust and heat exchangers were also replaced at this time. A recent service in September 2021 included changing the oil and replacing the tires, spark plugs, shocks, engine mounts, fuel filter, and air filter.
