This 1954 Chevrolet 210 Custom has spent its whole life in Austin TX and was purchased in 1954 at Henna Chevrolet in Round Rock. It was a neighbor's car as a kid and our family purchased it from the original owners. All the work was done about 5-10 years ago and is a great daily driver. The engine was sapped out for a GM 350 crate motor with Edelbrok performer intake manifold, Holly 600 CFM 4 barrel Carburetor, Pertronix Ignition, hooked up to dual exhaust and currently shows 17,600 miles. Engine runs great and the Vintage air AC system blows cold.
Under the car a complete Mustang 2 front suspension with rack & pinion steering, transmission is a GM TH 350 3 speed automatic with 75 Nova Differential 355 ratio. The wheels are 1949 Chevy 4 slit with standard fronts and back wheels were custom cut to fit 8 inch wheel width. Barkes are 11 inch power disc front brakes and 11 inch drum in the rear.
The body is in good shape with all panels fitting and doors working. You can see that some of the car has been painted at different times and this car could use a new paint job to match the new interior. The car does show some signs of rust on the rear panel by the bumper and corner of the roof. Please see the pictures. Front grille had extra teeth added to give it the current look with 1954 vintage plates and rear door handles removed and filled in. all glass appears to be original, left window inoperable and electric windshield wipers on the windshield.
Interior of this car has been completed in a tuxedo black and white pattern with a white headliner. The seats and doors look great with stitching carried throughout the car, matching sun visors. The dash is painted black with white instrument cluster and correct white steering wheel. AC controls mounted by the driver and a floor shifter-gennie.
This is a great running car that has a lot of potential for someone that wants to take it to the next level. Or if you want one that you can just jump in and drive and not worry about then this is the car for you. Currently in Austin TX. Request a viewing today.
