The SC is Porsche's final iteration of the 1964-65 Porsche 356 alongside the 356 C. Considered Porsche's most powerful OHV model of the period, this engine reaches 1,600 cc on a Flat 4-Cylinder. The SC has higher compression, more powerful pushrod, and a counterweight crankshaft slamming 95 hp. Four-wheel disc brakes were another key improvement, furthering this supercars stopping power. Production was split between body-makers Reutter in Stuttgart and Karmann in Osnabruck, ultimately producing this model (Porsche Certificate of Authenticity is included.)
